Editing Your About Section

The about section tells your story and gives potential customers a reason to choose you over the competition. It appears on your homepage and on the dedicated About page.

Fields You Can Edit

About Headline

The heading for your about section (e.g., "25 Years of Quality Concrete Work").

Description

Your company story. This is a freeform text area — write 2–4 paragraphs covering:

  • How long you've been in business
  • What you specialize in
  • Why customers keep coming back
  • Anything that makes you different (family-owned, local, certifications, specialized equipment, etc.)

About Image

A photo that appears alongside your story. A photo of you on a job site or a strong before/after project works well here.

Writing Tips

Be direct and speak to your customer:

  • Skip the corporate speak. "We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional results" tells people nothing.
  • Be specific. "We've been pouring driveways in the Denver area since 1999" is memorable.
  • Mention your certifications — licensed, insured, EPA certified, whatever you have. It matters to customers.
  • Keep it readable. Short paragraphs, plain language. If you wouldn't say it out loud, don't write it.
